Private flat long-term in Richmond rent-free in exchange for household help 10 days a month

We are offering a private, self-contained flat in our building in close to Richmond Park (TW10) in exchange for around 10 days of help per month with household duties. This is not tied accommodation – it’s simply a private flat for someone who wants to live there long-term, rent-free, in return for some help.


The flat is fully furnished and entirely for your own use – two small rooms, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. Similar accommodation in this area would typically rent for about £1,500 per month. In rare cases, we may ask to use one room for a guest.


The household belongs to a single father whose children stay with him only about 30% of the month. 
Help is needed only during these periods – roughly 10 consecutive days per month – and includes:

* General cleaning and housekeeping
* Preparing breakfast and dinner
* Laundry
* Grocery shopping or light errands
* School pick-ups


Duties are mostly in the mornings and afternoons, leaving the middle of the day free. Weekends may be included in those 10 days. During the remaining ~20 days each month, you have complete privacy. There might be opportunities for other duties against cash payments. There may also be occasional opportunities to travel with the family during school holidays.
