Before ordering, please confirm the following: Engine code must be B48B20A. This is specific to the 330e hybrid application — it is not compatible with standard B48 petrol variants.
These three components — DME, key fob, and BDC, are sold as a matched set because they are set to each other from the donor car. Separating them and fitting individual units to a car with unmatched components requires specialist coding. Buying them together simplifies the process significantly.
Coding to your specific car will still be required after fitting. Any independent BMW specialist with ISTA or equivalent BMW diagnostic software can carry this out.
