Beginners’ Piano and music theory lessons

I am a very friendly beginners’ piano and music theory teacher. I work as a teaching assistant in a local primary school, but as my own children are now at university, I find I have time to diversify in the time between finishing school and teatime. My first ever job was as a primary school teacher, but I then worked for many years as a professional classical singer, studying at the Royal Northern College of music for 3 years. When I came to Cornwall nearly 20 years ago, I worked as a peripatetic music teacher at Truro School, Truro High School for Girls and Truro College. My experience of KS1 and 2 children, plus my musical life, places me in a unique situation in offering piano and theory lessons to young beginners. I have a lovely piano, 3 friendly cats who love visitors, plenty of parking and plenty of tea and biscuits.
