Online Maths Tutor

Hello!
My name is Kai and I’m offering tailored, online Maths tuition for GCSE
and A Level students.
My experience with the Maths syllabus is that there is far too much emphasis
on memorising equations and formulas with very little explanation into the
fundamental concepts from which these formulas come from.
This can leave students feeling disengaged and frustrated - as if they just
can’t do maths.

My aim is to use visualisations and encourage intuitive ways of thinking
in order to equip students with the mathematical tools they need to tackle
any problem without feeling overwhelmed.
I will support my students so that they can be confident and exam ready.

For those who are interested I also hope to be able to offer a peak
into the abstract world of higher level maths.

Education

I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A Level before studying
Maths at Durham University.
