Health and Care Worker visa

This visa is especially for medical professionals to come or stay in the UK to an eligible job with the National Health Service (NHS), NHS supplier or in audit social care.
To qualify for this visa applicant must be a qualified doctor, nurse, health professional or audit social care professional who works in an eligible health or social care job. Applicant must be work for a UK employer that’s been approved by the Home Office and need to have a Certificate of Sponsorship from UK employer with the details of role which have been offered with a confirmed job offer in the UK. Also be paid a minimum salary depends on the work applicant does. Applicant must prove knowledge of English as well.

Once this visa approved, visa holder can stay up to 5 years by using this visa and can update or extend visa as many times as applicant like when it expires or changing jobs or employer. After the completion of 5 years applicant may apply to settle permanently (Indefinite leave to remain) in the UK. Indefinite leave to remain gives the right to live, work and study in UK as long as applicant like and may apply for all benefits if eligible.

Applicant can apply for this visa through online and 3 months prior to the due date to start the work in UK which is mentioned in the Certificate of Sponsorship. If the online application, proof of identity and all documents are in order Home office will usually take a decision within 3 week time. It is possible to fast track application by paying extra fee. Apart from the application fee, evidence of enough personal savings also to be submitted for applicant (partner or kids) in the application. No need to pay any health care surcharge for this visa.
