In the recent announcements by the search engine giant, Google informed that it has renamed its Project Fi into Google Fi. It’s not just the name, Google has also revamped its website with more appealing colours, fonts and has also launched a mobile app. Along with this, Google also announced that Google Fi will effectively support iPhone and many other Android devices like Samsung, LG, Motorola and OnePlus, among others.
Project Fi was launched in the US in 2005 to connect users to the fastest available network at a specific location. Google Project Fi used to work on a Wi-Fi network or data connections provided by the US carriers including Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.
