Studio Fix Freelance Maintenance Technician for Boutique Gym

We’re a high-end boutique gym looking for a reliable and experienced Freelance Maintenance Technician to help keep our space in top shape. You’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly — from gym equipment to lighting and water systems.

Location: High Street Kensington
Hours: Freelance / Part-time (flexible schedule)
Rate: Competitive – based on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

General maintenance: lights, minor repairs, paint touch-ups, wall/floor fixes, etc.

Gym equipment: inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines (e.g. Megaformer beds, bikes, cable machines)

Water systems: replace filters, check water quality in taps weekly/monthly, and record results

Upkeep: identify and stay on top of what needs fixing — weekly and monthly routines

Disposal: remove and properly dispose of broken or unneeded items

Preventative care: help us catch small issues before they become big ones

What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience with property or facility maintenance (ideally in gyms or fitness spaces)

Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

Problem-solver with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

Skilled in handling gym equipment maintenance

Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented

Access to tools and transport preferred
