After being humiliated beaten and starved those that died were usually buried in unmarked graves. The frightening apparition of a man has been seen in the upstairs rooms where objects are known to move, fall, or be found out of place. A female spirit is also often seen and heard. Strange noises have been witnessed throughout the building such as talking, moaning, sighing and even breathing in people’s ears.
