This four week course will break down the some of the attributes required to succeed as a writer. The aim of each of these sessions is to not only build upon the last, but to develop a new skill that could potentially serve as revenue of income. There will also be a few guest speakers featured throughout.
Week One: Non-fiction Writing - this session examines how to write and pitch non-fiction work as well as shortcuts for the researching process.
Week Two: Fictional Writing - this session examines how to write and pitch fictional work, including finding and approaching publishers, agents and understanding the self-publishing route.
Week Three: Creativity, Organisation and Inspiration - this session focuses on the creative process, building a habit and methods to provide continuous inspiration.
Week Four: Let's Talk - A 1:1 with the tutor to talk through your specific needs and interests in building your career as a writer.
