I work with vulnerable, disadvantaged, disengaged & bullied pupils 14 - 16 who are refusing mainstream education.

Criminology is a fantastic alternative subject for teenagers to study.

50 minute - 1 hour online lessons would cover:

Analyse different types of crime
Criminological theories

This would benefit parents who's children are:

1 - refusing to attend school
2 - vulnerable, disengaged, bullied & continually being excluded from school
3 - have no interest or struggling with core subjects
4 - no support / not engaging with teachers at school
5 - pupils wanting to learn a subject of interest
6 - parents wanting to offer their child a subject of interest outside the standard curriculum.

Criminology encourages further learning & introduces many learning objectives of core subjects i.e. English language (listening, speaking, reading & writing skills), science (psychology, biology & physiology), geography (laws in different countries), diverse learning (laws in different cultures) sociology (social response to crime), media research (music, film, TV), math (accounting), art / creativity etc…

This could be a short term solution (or long term in serious cases) providing online lessons offering an alternative interesting subject.

All lessons are planned and structured which includes homework.
