The Education and Training Level 3 course is composed of 3 units, which will give you a certificate that prepares you to teach in FE institutions.

The NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) is an introductory teaching qualification, which prepares learners for teaching or training in a wide range of contexts. The course consists of 3 units and it could be completed within 6 weeks – 6 months. Students will be required to perform a Micro-teach session as part of the course. Each learner is assigned to a qualified tutor and mentor who will talk you through the course, and also provide support and feedback when assignment is submitted.

To achieve the qualification, it is not an essential requirement to be in a teaching role in order to be assessed. This is designed to make it a very achievable qualification and an appropriate starting point for anyone who wants to become an educator. It is an introductory teaching qualification, which prepares learners for teaching or training in a wide range of contexts. The qualification is suitable for individuals who wish to work in Further Education Skills Sector and forms a foundation for those with no previous experience of teaching or training.

The course consists of three units, which are:
Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationship in education and training.
Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.
Understanding assessment in education and training.
The course assessment will be in the form of written assignments, case study, professional discussion, essay and micro-teach session.
