Read more about avoiding scams in classifieds Price: from £65 Description: We are offering around 10 - 12 ewes - mainly weaned lambs, and also a small selection of shearling/ 2/3yr old ewes currently running with the tup. Also senior/shearling Rams and ram lambs. They are pedigree registered and from a healthy fully MV accreditated flock and most are very tame. The older sheep and males are scrapie genotyped, genotypes of parents available for all lambs. All are Heptavac P vacc and vacc against BTV8 (1/8/08). If you are not yet in the BTV8 vaccination zone we can retain any stock for you until you are for movement requirements. We have a breeding flock of approx 25 ewes originally purchased from a range of breeders including some from top show flocks.  This is a large attractive Dutch breed of sheep, they are a docile breed, originally bred as a dual purpose meat and dairy sheep. Ewes average 80kg adult weight and rams 120kg. Easier lambing, they make a good crossing sheep adding frame size, confirmation, milkiness, prolifacy and fast growth rates. The lamb produces a high quality lean meat, and an attractive skin if tanned. The fleece is valued by hand spinners and feltmakers. We are offering 2 xbred and 4 less well marked purebred ewe lambs and from between £65 and £90ea (can be reg) and are offering 3 to 4 of our best ewe lambs(fully registered and very tame) at £300 -£400ea. All our midprice range ewe lambs have now been sold. Flock ewes from £140ea. Discounts offered for 5 or more sheep purchased. We also have a limited number of tups available(from £60 offers taken), some unrelated to the ewes for sale so a complete starter flock could be purchased.
