We train Volunteers to become Developmental Instructors who will travel to Africa and-or South America to cooperate with the NGO Humana People to People in supporting and empowering rural communities. Our programmes are: -An African program for 14 month with destination Mozambique, Malawi or South Africa. You will get trained and, train yourself independently for 6 months in the academy before travelling. In Africa you will be working with the NGO Humana People to People, supporting and creatively assisting projects in Child Aid, HIV/AIDS Prevention, Community Development or Agriculture. After 6 months in Africa (you can also choose to stay for 12 months) you will return to the Academy to evaluate and share your experiences and thoughts with new volunteers. This program starts every year in March and September. WE STILL HAVE PLACES AVAILABLE FOR THE SEPTEMBER PROGRAM. -An Latin American program for 9 months with destination Ecuador. You will receive training and train yourself in various subjects for 2 months, including the basics of spanish. After your training you will travel for 1 month by bus through South America with destination Ecuador. Once in Ecuador you will participate in a Child Aid project where you will be working with rural families for 4 months, supporting and stabilizing their living conditions. After that experience you will travel back to the Academy to give presentations and share your experiences with the new group.
