LISTING PHOTOS Click photo to enlarge Page Views: 190 Date Added: 18/04/2008 Last Updated: 07/05/2008 Price: 50.00 Description: This is a stunning Squeezer/Juicer made by The Rival Manufacturing Company of Kansas, U.S.A., Circa 1930/40s; the Juicer/Squeezer was known as the Tilt-Top Juice-O-Mat and was introduced to the market originally in 1936 under a Provisional Patent, then further Patents were granted in the U.S., with this particular example dating to the late 1940s. The Juice-O-Mat has a white enamelled base, chrome plated handle, a chrome plated streamlined top and comes complete with its cast aluminium catcher and squeezer. The Juicer is used by placing the catcher into the base, the squeezer above, with inserted fruit placed onto this the handle is then pulled down and squeeze, the juice then filters through to the catcher, so that it can be decanted into a glass. The Base of the Juice-O-Mat is cast with the details - 'Tilt-Top' TM Juice-O-Mat TM REG U.S. PAT. OFFICE CAT. No. N.J.-848 U.S. PAT. No. D-151103  2394763 - 2142975 OTHER PATENTS PEND. RIVAL MFG. CO.
