Hand assembled in the UK, this Thermapen isnt called superfast for no reason- it has an extremely fast response time and can read temperature in just 4 seconds! One of the main benefits of this thermometer to the catering industry is that it is housed in a washable casing including Biomaster additives that reduce bacteria growth and ultimately prevents from cross contamination. The ergonomic rubber seal also reduces the risk of the ingress of water, dust or food. The ThermaPen has a clear digital display with a precise read-out of temperature over the range of -49.9 to +299.9C and a 0.1C resolution. Both "Low Battery" and "Open Circuit" indication are also displayed when needed. To use, simply unfold the probe, which can be rotated up to 180. Apply the tip of the probe to the substance or surface you want to measure. The sensor is located at the tip of the probe, therefore the minimum depth insert should be 3mm.
