The camp site is conveniently situated within the local area, indeed the area has grown up around the site.  Many places are accessible on foot, also it is well served by buses and ferries should you not wish to drive yourself.  Alternatively you could book one of the many excursions available at the on site independent excursions office or if you are feeling energetic you could hire a bicycle from the camp shop. Just across the road is the village of Port Grimaud, with its network of canals, offering you many more dining and entertainment options.  You can also catch the ferry from here to go to Saint Tropez, this is a cheap and pleasant trip to take. Whatever kind of holiday you are seeking you are sure to find it at Prairies de la Mer.  The beach is on site only 400 yards away and all facilities are close at hand.  We have ensured that our pitches are conveniently situated to all facilities yet far enough away to be quiet at night.  Safety and security is a the watchword on this site and the entrances are manned  24 hours a day and there are regular patrols throughout the day and night.  The pedestrian has priority and the speed limit for vehicles is no more than 5 mph.
