<description>We are an English couple who live in Luxor and our&#160;one bedroom guest apartment comprises the 107sq. m. third floor of our building, which lies in a tiny alley in the middle of Luxor, just 3 minutes walk behind the tourist souq. Our friendly little close runs off the main road, where the local buses run. It has taken us 5 years to find the right position and to develop the apartment to our satisfaction. We hope you, too, will like our antique Arabian style, which we have been told on several occasions has a certain &quot;wow&quot; factor. Although we have striven to create the ambience of a bygone era, we haven&#39;t left out the modern comforts. 
Both the living area and the bedroom have air-conditioning /heating, and the lightly tinted glass in the large balcony windows and doors, takes the edge from the brilliance of our Luxorian sunlight. The TV is coupled to a satellite and a DVD player, not that you should be wasting your time watching it! We also provide a small library of DVD&#39;s and books. 
We want you to enjoy your holiday, with us, in Luxor. Whether you are looking for a romantic break, or have left that phase behind and are bringing your kids with you, we can accommodate you. While the bedroom usually has a superking bed, it can be made into twins, and the three &quot;dikkehs&quot; (Egyptian sofa beds) in the living room actually have full size single mattresses, so we can sleep&#160;4 in comfort. We are able to supply a cot, if required. Of course all bed linen and&#160;towels are included in our weekly rental charges, as are your airport or station transfers and electricity, air-con etc. For only 30le per person per day, we will serve you a substantial breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the fascinating rooftops and minarets of Luxor, and the Theban Hills over on the West Bank. Early risers can watch the hot air balloons looming out of the mists on the other side, as they soar upward to greet the rising sun. 
Our en-suite shower/WC has a separate shower cubicle, and a second WC is provided in an adjoining room. The kitchen is equipped with the necessities, but who wants to do washing while they are on holiday? We can do that for you also, for a minimal charge, so we do not provide a washing machine in the guest apartment. The kitchen will be initially stocked with the basic lifesavers; tea, coffee, bottled water, fresh (pasteurised) milk and sugar, bread, butter, jam and cheese..... and chocolate! Living in the middle of town, there are shops and restaurants, and markets and coffee shops within a very short distance.
Our nightly rental is from&#160;200le (&#163;23), with a minimum charge of two nights. Weekly, the minimum is 1250le (&#163;140).
