For those of you who don't know the GP14 is a great 'starter' boat; very stable on the water and plenty of room for up to 4 people. There is an excellent GP14 association http://www.gp14.org with lots of useful information on this very popular class. The boat was stripped back to bare wood and the top deck outer hull and 2/3 inner hull were epoxy coated ( THE VERY BEST PROTECTION FOR WOOD) the top deck then received several coats of varnish and the hull several coats of paint.
