Play Recording Studios was established in London and based in the notorious 8 Berwick Street, Soho. Previously this building housed the mythological “Berwick Street Studios”, recording legendary artists such as Ringo Star, Chemical Brothers, Van Morrison, Danni Minogue and many more.

After a year working primarily as a recording studio they came to realise the sheer amount of talent that was coming through the doors. Most of these artists simply don’t know where and how to start their career. This inspired Play to decide to collaborate with several producers and management companies such as Downtown Management and Fire Fly Records to help their artists get radio play, live gigs, show cases and ultimately a record deal.
Play Studios hand picks artists who stand out and during the audition process to go forward and take part in their original artist development projects. They then give the artists the foot in the door these artists need in such a competitive industry.
