With a large 7" jog wheel to emalute a turntable platter and intergrated display. The wheel works just like a real deck, the top is touch sensitive so touching it stops the track, let go and it starts up again. The side of the platter can be used as a pitch bend to nudge the track or slow it down. If you want to use the CD player without the turntable emulation you can flick it off and it works just like a typical Pioneer CD player. You also get reverse mode and the start up and braking speed are adjustable for some great effects.The pitch fader is adjustable to 6-10-16 and 100%.  Looping is seamless, the internal memory can store upto 3 loop or cue points per disc. The points can be transfered onto SD card (provided) to use on any other CDJ1000. Wave display shows the sound waves to display the gaps in sound like grooves in a record. There's an automatic BPM counter built in too.
