Hand painted peony tea bowl (also known as chawan in Japanese). Interior is glazed with a lovely yellow glaze color. It's soda fired so the exterior has a lovely sheen to the hand painted peony blossoms and where the sodium bicarbonate hits in the interior lovely crystal blooms occur.
Fits comfortably in your hand. You can also use it for hot chocolate, soups and ice cream!

Measures 3.25 inches high and 3.5 inches wide at the rim.
As these are hand made measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece. Variations in glaze colors and coverings on the tea bowl is a natural occurrence.
Microwave and oven safe. You can wash this in the dishwasher but for hand made items, gentle treatment of hand washing will make it last longer.
