Description:
None of these recordings are available to buy in the shops and until earlier this year many were thought to be lost and never to be seen again.

These lost episodes are now all available in one collection. You will receive a DVD packed with the following gems:COMES IN DVD CASE WITH ALL ART WORK AND COVER

Licensed to Drill
This is a full length episode filmed in around 1984 as an educational episode in which Del, Rodney and Grandad discuss oil drilling. The plot involves Del dreaming up a scheme of how to get rich drilling for oil and then buying an oil rig for £400! The film was never aired ( only ever being shown in schools) and until earlier this year was considered to be lost.

The Funny Side of Christmas
Sometimes known as ‘xmastrees’ this gem has only recently been discovered (in 2006) and consists of an eight-minute one-off special edition which was only ever aired in 1982 as part of a show hosted by Frank Muir in which mini-episodes of Yes, Minister, Open All Hours, Butterflies and Last of the Summer Wine also featured. It involved Del trying to shift 150 Christmas Trees down the market before Rodney come up with a plan!

The Robin Flies at Dawn
The Robin Flies at Dawn consists of a 15 minute 1990-91 Gulf War episode that was filmed at RAF Strike Command in High Wycombe and was commissioned especially to show to British troops who were serving in the conflict. This unique episode has never been aired commercially and involved the three wheeled van being kitted out with a machine gun on the roof in readiness for action! A copy of this film is preserved at the Imperial War Museum in London.

White Mice
This is a one-off 5 minute spoof BBC documentary filmed in 1985, with Del being investigated by consumer expert Lynn Faulds Wood. This film was only ever aired on 24/12/84 as Part of a BBC Breakfast Time Christmas Special and shows Del explaining how to sell some White Mice to a 'Wally In A Hat'. It has never been re-transmitted and until earlier this year was considered lost.

The Royal Variety Performance
In 1986, Only Fools and Horses featured at the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, Drury Lane, London. The plot saw David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst and Buster Merryfield appear on stage in character, thinking that they are delivering boxes of alcohol to an associate of Del's, only to get the location confused with the London Palladium!

Comic Relief Special 1997
A Comic Relief special showing Del, Rodney and Albert making an appeal for donations to the campaign. Rodney's finances leave him feeling sorry for himself whilst Del is contemplating a modelling career for Damien. Albert, as usual, reminds them how lucky they all are when he reminisces about his war time exploits in Africa.

Rover Advert
Filmed in 1985 and reportedly shown in New Zealand and Australia it features Boycie showing Del the latest available model.

Abbey National Advert
Also filmed and broadcast in 1985 the scene is set in an upper class restaurant and has a rather funny ending!
Please also note that the footage is as original and un-restored. Please don't expect full DVD quality on some of the features.
