DVD 1
1. On The Beat (1962)
Norman Pitkin wants to follow in his Dad's footsteps and be a policeman but unfortunately he is well below the required height. A job as a police car washer at Scotland Yard is the closest he gets until one day he inadvertently drenches the commissioner!
2. Man Of The Moment (1955)
Norman is a paper-pusher in Whitehall who must pose as a top-level diplomat during a UN briefing. He unexpectedly comes to the rescue of a pacific island, to the fury of the super powers.

3. Just My Luck (1957)
Jeweller's assistant, Norma, is in love with the window dresser next door. His desire to prove his love with a ruby pendant leads him into the shady world of gambling.
4. A Stitch In Time (1963)
Norman is an assistant to Mr Grimsdale, an old fashioned family butcher. When the shop is held up at gunpoint, Mr Grimsdale, at Norman's suggestion, puts his most priceless possession, his gold watch, in his mouth for safe keeping.

5. The Early Bird (1965)
Norman is a milkman with the old fashioned Grimsdale Dairy and is ready to defend his traditional methods when a big corporation threatens to take over.
6. Press For Time (1966)
Norman plays three different characters: a newspaper seller, his suffragette mother and the Prime Minister who turns out to be his Grandmother.

7. The Square Peg (1958)
It is the Second World War and Norman is proud of his role in the war effort. He is a road mender for the council until he is recruited into the pioneer corps.
8. Follow A Star (1959)
Norman is too shy to realise his dreams of becoming a singing star. Instead he lets someone else mime to his vocals. A fabulous supporting cast including Hattie Jacques.

9. Trouble In Store (1953)
Norman has an aim in life to become a window dresser in the magnificent department store where he works. However, events conspire against him despite all his efforts. This first starring role won Norman a BAFTA award.
10. Up In The World (1956)
Norman applies for a job as Lady Banderville's window cleaner. Norman starts his work bit is hampered by the pranks of Sir Reggie, her son.
DVD 6
11. The Bulldog Breed (1960)
Norman is a love struck grocer who runs off to join the Navy when his advances are spurned. Once there the admiral plans to make him the first man to rocket into orbit in their new spacecraft.
12. One Good Turn (1955)
Norman is the odd job man at an orphanage where he promises to buy one of the children a toy car. But they are not cheap. Norman must devise various ways of making money to fulfil his promise.

13. What's Good For The Goose (1969)
Norman Wisdom with swinging sixties psychedelia, and you get this outrageous ode to free love as a dull bank clerk's life is transformed by the shapely forms of two hitchhikers, Sally Geeson and Sarah Atkinson.
