These are the little notes and letters they write to their parents, usually starting at the age of 6 or so, expressing love, rage, hatred, apology, or just observations on life. Some children hardly ever write these, but others are prolific. Take a look at www.imightcomedownformeals.blogspot.com The title comes from a line in one of the letters. I am desperately in need of more contributions. I don't need the actual letter - just a scan. Look at the website to see what is needed and where to send it. At the moment nearly all the content is from my youngest daughter! When I get enough it would be great to do a book (I am in the media, but not in book publishing). I feel that a lot of children's natural expressiveness and creativity is ignored in favour of SATs etc. I am all for achievement and hard work at school, but there is something wonderful about uncommissioned words from children. Please help. If you have kept these precious artefacts and your child is happy to have his words on the net, please send them. I only ever use first names and ages (no surnames or locations).
