The McIntosh MC4000M is considered by many in the car audio hobby to be the "holy grail" of amplifiers. This amp was made back in the glory days of car audio and is an absolute beast. Chances are you already know about this amp, so I'll keep the description brief. It is under rated on performance as are all McIntosh amps. Six channels of clean power, with lots of headroom. Specs are: Channels 1,2,3,4 are 4 x 100 watts at 4 ohms Channels 5 & 6 are 2 x 300 watts at 4 ohms. Distortion is ultra low at .005% 2 ohm stable in stereo The condition is very, very nice. It plays awesome and is 100% functional. I am the second adult owner and I have never pushed this amp too hard or abused it. There are a few very small, hairline scratches on the heatsink. I used this amp to drive an active front stage 3-way Dynaudio System 340. I have never driven subwoofers with this amp since I've owned it. This was my dream system and I truely babied it. Included is the rare and original MC4000M owners manual(not a copy). The expired warranty registration card, and warranty certificate are also included.
