The job is on a casual basis where you will be asked to work a certain day which a party has been booked for. This will vary throughout the year but is likely to be at the weekend. The area in which the party will be situated will also vary as we are expanding across the Country, however, it is your prerogative to decide which area / s you will be available to work in. Responsibilities: To preserve the life of bathers; To act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of bathers in the event of emergency; To provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services; To present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Qualifications required: To apply for this job, the following qualification needs to be held (and in date)- STA NARS level 2 pool lifeguard or NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) - favoured Skills required: - Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. - Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques. - Ability to pass a pre-employment physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the company. - Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. - Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures. - Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. - Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures At least 1 years experience is favoured, but not essential. A driving license may also be needed as travelling to the location of the party may be a distance away (all travelling costs are covered, plus wage per hour of travelling).
