Part of KLH's Sequel series of speakers, the SBHT-6S is compatible with all home theater receivers. The subwoofer has a 50-watt rating, while the satellite speakers can be used with a receiver with maximum output of 100 watts--for up to 550 watts of aural power. The subwoofer features a built-in amplifier with 50 watts RMS output, power and volume controls, and a 45 to 180 Hz frequency response. Each pair of front- and rear-channel magnetically shielded speakers (4 total) have 3-inch dynamic woofers with coaxially mounted Piezo tweeters, two-way design, and an average impedance of 8 ohms. The matching center-channel speaker has the same specifications as the front- and rear-channel speakers. This package comes in a white finish; it is also available in silver.
