I am based in the South East so I can easily travel to Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex or London. I do, however travel a lot further than this and I am now doing quite a lot of work in Scotland. I do a lot of weddings and being classically trained, I can easily play classical music for the ceremony and provide mellow jazz for the reception drinks and the wedding breakfast. The music I play is easy to listen to and is not ultra modern. My influences have been pianists like Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander, George Shearing, Erroll Garner and Dudley Moore rather than being influenced by the music of the Be-Bop genre (Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie etc.). My playing can be inobtrusive (if needed) or I can turn up the gas if that's what your looking for.
