I am a jazz pianist based in Lingfield, Surrey and I am available for any corporate event, wedding, or private party in London, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Hampshire and other areas of the UK. I am not only a solo jazz pianist but I also enjoy performing in trios, quartets or any other combo situation. Recently I have been performing at many events and parties as a jazz duo with bass. Piano and bass is a beautiful combination; it’s main strength being it’s capacity to achieve a wide range of expression. There is an intimacy about this combination that isn’t as evident in quartets and larger combos. It is almost like a one to one conversation: at one end of the spectrum it can sound like two close friends telling each other their closest secrets; at the other it could two blokes out for a good time. Piano and bass is capable of intense sensitivity and yet it can swing like crazy - it is the perfect duo. The music I play is easy  music is easy to listen to, whatever combination I play in. My main influences have been Oscar Peterson, George Shearing, Erroll Garner and Dudley Moore. Other musical influences have been Ben Webster, Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, and Jimmy Smith. I have worked throughout the UK and performed in most of the main London venues including: The Royal Festival Hall, Quaglinos, The Café Royal, and The Ivy. The complete list is much longer than this and is forever growing. Because of my geographical location, I tend to get most of my work from London, Essex, Suffolk, Dorset, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Hampshire. I will, however, perform anywhere in the UK or even abroad. At the moment a lot of my work is coming from Birmingham and the midlands area but things do change. SO HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
