Description:
Whilst on a trip to New Zealand to learn about the environment and explore new landscapes to inspire her photography Carrie Adlington discovered the wonder of Maori bone carvings. Intrigued by the motifs, symbolism and customs borne from their respect for and reverence of nature she now carves wearable sculptures out of bone and other materials. Through these unique pieces of jewellery Carrie hopes to inform people about this wonderful art form and the stories a noble people have to tell. Personalisation and made to order services are offered for that extra special gift. To find that unusual present please visit my website: www.CalderaGallery.co.uk Prices start from £10
