Saturday 12th January 2008 10:00pm - 4:00am
The Leopard Inn 21 Market Place Burslem Stoke On Trent ST6 3AA
On March 8th 1765, Josiah Wedgwood and James Brindley met at the Leopard Inn to discuss the construction of the Trent and Mersey Canal. The project began the following year and spearheaded Britain’s Golden Age of canals, revolutionising freight transport and helping fuel the industrial revolution.
While this is an interesting fact, we are only really interested in its paranormal side.
The Inns cellar is reported to have once been a mortuary and it has also been said that condemed men were held there while waiting to be hanged at the local courthouse.
Also of intrigue are the Georgian hotel bedrooms that had been sealed up until recently.
Thrown into the paranormal spotlight during Most Haunted's 2007 Halloween Live show, the Leopard has much promised to paranormal investigation teams, so come and join our team and you take the place of the researchers for a night at The Leopard Inn.
Please note that all attendees must be over 18.
