Concerned parent or teacher,
Learning difficulties come in many forms and many disguises. Aquiring knowlege is easy if a child has the skills and techniques to learn.
In ADD or ADHD, a child's learning problem may be more obvious:
lack concentration, easily distracted, doesn't finish work, a lack of comprehension.
In contrast, another child may be doing well in school now, but works extra hard to keep up with the rest of the students. In time, hard work may not be sufficient or enough to keep this child performing at the same level as the rest of the class.
At some point in the journey, these children often fall behind.
Neither of the problems mentioned above have anything to do with IQ or intelligence. Most children with learning disabilities have normal or above normal intelligence. The child with ADD and the child who works extra hard, can both learn faster and easier.
Both of these children need to improve their cognitive skills.
Cognitive development has to do with how well and how fast we can perform the cognitive abilities we have.
For example, a child may be able to read, but how fast and efficiently the child reads is determined by cognitive ability and processing speed. A child may be able to put a puzzle together or do a math problem, but if it takes this child longer than most of the other children, this is an information processing problem.
Cognitive learning deficiences are often the cause of ongoing learning
disabilities. If this problem is not addressed, there are long-term consequences for a child.
My FREE REPORT this month has valuable secrets that most parents don't know about learning helping their child with a learning disability.

Cognitive development problems manifest in a number symptoms.
Some are more obvious than others but all are detrimental to a child's academic and emotional development.
Too slow finishing work
Reverses letters and numbers
easily distracted
Takes too long to complete a task
Cannot follow a series of
instructions as in a word math
problem
There is a permanent solution and with a few weeks of training YOU can transform your child from a slow learner to advance 2 grade levels or more in information processing. Once these skills are developed they will be there for life!
