Get paid and have your brain scanned!
We are carrying out a study into the patterns of thinking and brain activity of persistent violent offenders, and need to include healthy controls in our study.
Are you:
· Male
· Right handed
· Aged 30-45 years old
· With good eyesight (no glasses)
· Interested in having your brain scanned
· Able to go inside an MRI (magnetic resonance) brain scanner?
· OK at reading English, with no education beyond secondary school?
· Free of any history of criminal offences or convictions?
If so, you may be able to help us with our research. This involves taking part in 4 days of psychological tasks, including having your brain scanned. It is essential that you abstain from using drugs or alcohol during this period and for 2 days prior to it. In return you will be paid and reimbursed reasonably for public transport costs. If you’re interested or to find out more information, please phone 020 7848 0257 / 020 7848 5274 or alternatively email aynur.yalcin@iop.kcl.ac.uk
We are very keen to encourage people from ethnic minorities to apply. This study has been approved by Kings College London. |
