| Vaharsolt Balakthanov is a Chechnyan painter who is 44 years old. He had an honour to be elected as Chechnya’s best painter in 1996-1999. He graduated from the world famous Repin Institute in St. Petersburg. His paintings represent classical realism and he is specialized in landscape and portrait painting.
