I am currently studying for my City and Guilds in Electrical Installation at night school. I am progressing well on my course and passed my first year with distinction. However I am looking to gain significant practical experience which neither the course or my current job are able to provide.
Due to family commitments, I am unable to leave my job and work as an apprentice. However it was suggested to me, by a retired electrician, that I enquire whether anybody needs a “2nd man” for evenings and weekends.
I can commit long or short term and have no problem with doing the apprentices duties, labouring etc, as long as I am able to observe and do bits and pieces to assist. I would not ask for any type of long term commitment from you, I would only ask for a fair casual rate. At this moment in time gaining the required practical experience is more important to me than the money side of things.
I am English and have always lived in the London area. I can assure you that I am not a time waster I am genuinely looking to progress within the industry.
I hope to hear from you and would ask that even if you are unable to offer anything at this time, you please keep my details in case anything comes up in the future. This ad is maintained in a searchable database. To see the current ad with all of the details, please go here. |
