I bought this van 5 months ago to do a few odd jobs with it. In those 5 months I have used it for tip runs and have also moved house with it. Other than that though it has been used as my everyday runaround and has been empty most of the time. It has done a few long trips with no problems and I use it everyday to go to work and back which is a 20 mile round trip with no issues whatsoever.
This van has 7 Months MOT (expires March 4th 2010) and is taxed until the end of this month. It starts first turn of the key everytime and runs very well indeed. The bodywork lets it down a bit with bashes here and there and rust patches however it is a truely great workhorse and just keeps going. The back is fully ply lined and it has a towbar with fully working electric hookup (7 pin).
There were a few things that I wanted to get sorted with the van but as you can see by the pictures I have not got round to doing them. Firstly the drivers seat is tatty and I was going to replace it, the air intake has duct tape round it so I think the pipe must have a split (intake pipe costs £15 to replace) and also the back doors are rotten at the bottom. As I was using the van though these things didn't bother me at all as it runs so well you don't notice! Its no oil painting but the rear doors can be replaced from a scrap yard or you can purchase bottom door panels that weld or rivet on.
The other little problem it has is there is a 'nack' to opening the left rear door (which I will show the buyer.) I think it just needs adjusting but again it never bothered me and I just continued with it as it is.
I have been as honest as I can about this van but don't forget that it is taxed until the end of this month and MOT'd until March 4th 2010 (7 months) and despite its appearance it is a very good workhorse ready to go straight out on the road!
