Freefall is a traditional rock band dedicated to creating our own unique sound.
Our set includes power beat-driven rock songs though to atmospheric rock ballads. We have recording studio experience and several years exposure at local gig level. Our level of musicianship is very high as is our song writing ability. Recently we have begun to develop well placed contacts within the recording and touring industry. Our ultimate aim is to use these contacts, and others, to become a full time successful, signed, and financially viable band embracing mass success.
The lead singer and bassist have moved to Spain to work the hotel circuit and we are actively seeking replacements.
Our influences include Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theatre, Satriani, AC/DC, Rainbow, Guns n Roses, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen.
We are looking for a bassist with a unique sense of melody and rhythm. Versatile playing is important. It is important that you can hold an audience's attention and are willing to travel and play around exhaustive hours. Dedication is a must. Backing vocals would help, but is in no way essential.
I must emphasize, we are not a covers band and the above bands simply illustrate the style of music we are into - Classic Rock.
