Are you a Qualified Social Worker wishing to specialise in Child Protection?
Our client is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker with UK experience to work in a Child Protection, Referral & Assessment team as a locum. You must have a DipSW or a Degree in Social Care, a current CRB and be registered with the GSCC.
Main duties:
In your role as QSW, Child Protection Referral and Assessment you will be carrying out the following duties:
Initial Assessments
Taking Referrals
Working as part of Duty team
Carrying out Section 17 investigations
Child Protection
Report Writing
The right candidate be expected to visit the home and involve the child in the interview, as well as other external organisations where appropriate. Excellent knowledge of the Children Act 1989 is a must, with specific experience of section 17 and section 47 assessments. You will have at least one year post qualified experience and be looking to undertake a diverse and fulfilling role.
