Green Rides is a growing independent ski and snowboard holiday company, operating in the resorts of La Rosiere and La Plagne in the French Alps since 2007. We are therefore recruiting for the 2009-2010 ski season and are looking for reliable, honest and self motivated people to join our team.
Our staff should be able to maintain our high quality of service, making sure the clients are well looked after and have an excellent ski holiday during their stay with us, so they come back again and again. Our staff will also benefit from a very good package, with excellent accommodation and plenty of ski time, not to mention a really fun enviroment and resort to work in.
Job description:
We are looking for organised chalet couples to host our catered chalets (one of the couple should be an experienced cook) for up to 16 guests per week. You will work together to provide breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal as well as cleaning (daily clean and changeover day). You will also be responsible for driving client’s regularly on changeover day and during the week and ski hosting on occasion. The role also involves socializing with the guests, generally looking after their needs during their stay and having the initiative to problem solve and keep motivated.
Minimum qualification/experience:
- Chalet work experience preferred (references from other jobs with ski companies)
- Experience catering for groups
- Intermediate skiing level required for one member of the couple
- Experience running a home and living together (at least 6 months)
- Excellent social skills
- Full clean driving license for both members of the couple held for more than 2 years
- Age 25 +
We provide:
- Season ski pass with Carte Neige full cover mountain insurance
- Ski or snow board hire for the season

- One full day off per week
- Live-out accommodation in a 2 person studio with kitchen and bathroom or live-in accommodation in amazing top floor separate studio with kitchen, bathroom and stunning views.
