We have a couple of campervans which we only use ourselves during the skiing season so we will rent them out for the summer and let someone else get the benefit of them. Both vans are Mazda Bongo conversions, probably the best campervans we have ever used and definitely the most reliable. . They are NOT “Motorhomes” with big sofas and 4 poster beds! May as well stay at home ! What they are great for is 2 adults and 3 kids (or 4 very friendly adults) who want to experience the great outdoors Upstairs bed sleeps 2/3 kids, downstairs 2 adults. Both vans come with built - in cooker and sink, electric coolbox, picnic table & chairs, all crockery etc. and a huge awning which is for daytime living and extra sleeping quarters. You need to bring your own linen and bedding but most other things can be hired or borrowed. For a few bucks extra we can do a five ft trailer pack which will take a load of gear, plus we hire bike racks, bikes, and pretty much anything else you could need on a camping holiday, and only a small charge. The vans are not new but they are spanking clean and very well maintained. The rental companies charge anything from £450/£600 a week for similar campervans and a small fortune for “extras” such as a coolbox. Our price is simple -£300 per week (£42.33 a day equivalent) at any time except July and August , which are £350 per week. We also do long weekend hires (Fri-Mon) for £150. Insurance is included but only up to minimum legal requirements. You need to insure your van separately for comprehensive cover, which your usual insurance company will do at little cost or we can arrange for you at a ridiculous cost of £20 per day.
