The Personal music center uses layered menus so only the information you need is displayed. Frequently-used functions, such as volume control and radio station selection, are readily available. Menus for more advanced functions, such as programming a multiple CD play list, appearNot only has the concept of components changed, so has the rest of the system. Room-filling loudspeaker cabinets have been replaced by Jewel Cube® speakers about the size of a computer mouse. The full, deep bass comes from the Bose Acoustimass® module, engineered to be hidden away behind furniture or off in a corner. To create a multi-room system, simply add optional Bose powered expansion speakers in up to three additional rooms, like the Acoustimass 5 Series IV (#972418B or #972418W) or Bose Lifestyle (#972451B or #972451W) powered speakers. Add Personal music center kits (#972455), and you'll be able to control the whole system from the additional rooms! To bring Bose sound to your yard or patio, simply expand with Bose 151 or 251environmental speakers (#972461, #972461W, #972471 or #972471W), designed specifically for outdoor use. Because these speakers are unpowered, you'll also need the Lifestyle SA-1 stereo amplifier (#972452A). Enhance the Performance of Your Bose Products! Elegantly display your cube speakers and hide speaker wires with slender metal floor stands from Bose (#9724192B or #9724192W).
