Further Details: There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and shopping, you might even catch one of the many spectacular fiestas. Most restaurantes offer local cuisine and some specialise in sea-food.  Ponte de Lima has one of several good golf courses in the area. It is 33 km from The English House. Discounts can be obtained with our card. Close by to Ponte de Lima there is also a lake area designated to conservation of birds and wild-life where designated walks are laid out and cycles can be hired.
