Most of the rooms are beamed, a large inglenook fireplace is in the dining room, with log fires in the winter to welcome you to breakfast chosen from our large varied menu. All bedrooms are ensuite and everything is provided for a relaxing stay, full service tray, bath robes, slippers, toiletries, TV and fresh milk. Most of the year we cook on an Aga and use local produce when ever possible. Moat Farm is a working farm with pigs, horses and a family of wandering ducks. Stabling is available for those of you who would like to bring your own horses. Thorndon has a good village pub which provides food.
