Both of these rooms have double full sized glass doors which face south so benefit from the sun most of the day. There is also a small toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there is the bathroom and a double bedroom, which is again south-facing. A new spiral staircase leads up to the large attic bedroom which has twin beds. This room is a perfect space for children, but is also full height so can equally accommodate adults. There is space to park at the side of the house as well as a large shaded garden to the rear, ideal for those al fresco meals. The village itself is a busy hub for the local community. In fact the local bakers is right beside the house. There is a bar in the village as well as a post office, church and the town hall. Within fifteen minutes drive there are many traditional French restaurants serving excellent food, one of the best being in the village of Ajat. The area itself has lots to offer not least the prehistoric art found in the caves at Lascaux which are less than half an hour's drive from the house. The towns of Thenon and Montignac are both bustling with activity and well worth a visit. The house is conveniently located 15 minutes from the autoroute (A89) making access by car easy but also making it ideal for several regional airports, Bergerac being the closest.
