Bass player *with plectrum!* required, 20-40, for band in Derby. Backing Vocals an advantage, must have pro approach, own gear & transport. I'm looking for someone who is as determined and committed as ourselves, to the music we write and play. Five top musicians already involved - just needs the right Bassist to seal the deal. You will be joining the best.
We're in the studio working on our new album at the moment, which is destined for release later this year. It's a sort of quirky English intelligent pop influenced by classic song writers such as Ray Davies, the Beatles, Difford and Tilbrook, Bacharach, Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello etc.
As well as recording, we're putting a ninety-minute set together so that we can go out and do some gigs. We have good industry contacts (my previous band had a record deal with EMI/IRS records in this country and Capitol in the USA), so eventually hope to be doing some reputable shows.
