It has a completely enclosed area front and back plus a large decking area with seating. (Ideal if you have small children) It is situated in a quiet area of the camp so you have the best of both worlds- busy if you want to enjoy everything the camp offers or walk down to the beach and you may see the dolphins or just laze around on the odd day in the garden of the caravan. About the Caravan [This is strictly a no smoking and no pets caravan] Three bedroom caravan - 1 double - 2 twin. (The main bedroom has a double wardrobe, vanity unit and drawer chest) it also has a TV with DVD player. The other bedrooms have twin beds (but you could push them together,) they have a wardrobe and vanity mirror in each with either overhead cupboards or shelves.) It has a fully fitted kitchen with full size cooker, microwave, fridge and seperate freezer. It also has the added benefit of a kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster and coffee maker. Of course in addition there is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and washing machine for your use. Complementary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are there for your arrival. It has a large lounge area with dining area, plenty of room for 8 people. There is a large screen TV with DVD player and a playstation2 with some games. It also has a sky dish and cabling so if you have sky at home just bring it along and plug in, although there is limited cable channels and ordinary channels available anyway on the park. There are board games available if you want a quiet time. Also there are a few books and DVDs for you to use while you are there. Bedding including sheets, pillows and cases, duvet and covers are provided but don't forget to bring your towels. The facilities in the camp are perfect for high energy families with an indoor pool complex, (5 pools including the pool for the very small children three flumes and multi-lane slide, This is fun for the children and the adults as you can pick whichever pool is best for the person whether it is the baby pool or the wave pool or rapids and go round and round. If the children cant swim there is the opportunity for a small extra charge for them to have swimming lessons in the pool with certificate at the end of the week. (you do have to book these at the pool at the start of the holiday.) There is also a boating lake (along with the ducks and swans), Rope works, (new at the end of the season last year) Also new for this year is adventure golf. Alongside the sports drome where there is most of the sports available there is a newly fitted gym for the adults (the gym is extra and can be paid per visit or you can join for the length of your holiday) There are 3 entertainment venues:- The Boardwalk - all day entertainment for children and adults. Fun with Roary and the Funstars. Loads of daytime activities for the kids,                                                        The Showbar - entertainment mostly in the evening, with the funstars and various cabaret acts, comedians, groups that cater for most music tastes throughout  the season  there are really great shows. there is also the Bonga Wonga Club, this hold different shows through out the season but does sometime close in the quiet part of the season. If you enjoy a game of bingo well they have a family bingo session and bingo for the adults.                            There is also The Lakeside Inn , This is the camp 'Local' Pub, it also serves great food, has curry nights and a brilliant Carvery on sundays. (the details about the activities i have listed are based on last year but i doubt they will have changed much although they will probably added more things this year) There are 2 supermarket type shops on the camp which sell most things from newspapers to nappies, fruit and veg, bread cooked on the premises to bait for fishing. But if you want anything else there is the new Asda nearby in Pwllheli. There is also a fish and chip shop and a burger king if you want takeaway – but you can eat in the Lakeside Inn or there is a new eatery in the Boardwalk that is open for most of the time. There is a couple of gift shops (not too expensive either), a photo shop (get your photo done while enjoying yourselves – great as a souvenir.) There are 3 or 4 cash points. There is a launderette and hire shop but I don’t think you will need them as I have had a washing machine for my own use and you are welcome to use that. The camp is so near many of the local attractions including Snowdonia (and the slate museum, mountain railway) and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, Port Merion (where they made the TV series 'The prisoner', and you are within the reach of many of the welsh towns including Caernarfon, Pwllheli, Portmadoc, amongst them and of course Abersoch (nicknamed by some 'the welsh Riviera'.) As well as all this there is the fishing here, there is course fishing available in the camp although we have not tried that as both my husband and sons enjoy sea fishing from either of the  beaches on the camp or from the rocks in Pwllheli. There are also a few fisheries that are not that far away if you prefer.(and any fish you catch you can freeze to take home) If you do need to know anything else please email me. I have been down to the caravan today and you I have updated the photos and taken some of the outside as well. There seems to be alot going on in the camp for this year as since I was there at Christmas the older building that contained the launderette and hire shop and one of the older arcade have all been taken down and the ground completely cleared.  It is obvious from the building firms and workmen there there will be more improvements again this year.
