It has a double and a single bed and mattress for the floor so is comfy with 3, cool with 4 and fun with 7. Yep we had 7 for the month of July. Before we bought it was used for a winter season to the Swiss Alps so its kitted up for both. The Van: The vagabond is a 1996 Ford Transit 100 (High-top long wheel base) with a camper conversion inside. -2.5Diesel - easily reaches the speed limit on the motorways & way cheaper on Fuel in Euro -5 Speed manual -130000 Miles -Gets 650km to a tank (about 65 litres) -Seating for 7 with seatbelts for all -MOT until May -6 months Tax -New front end bushes with receipt, all that was needed for MOT -New Battery -No decals or stickers – free camp friendly! -Reversing Camera (needs small LCD screen) -Tyres are in good condition -Safe-T-Bar on rear (step / collision bar) -Mechanically sound -No structural rust and only very small amount of cosmetic rust. The house inside: -Full size double bed mounted sideway with a comfy as Ikea futon mattress. -Bench seat along one side which doubles as a single bed. -Single futon mattress, fits perfectly on floor -Full insulation – cool in summer, warm in winter. -Kitchen unit along other side -Camping Gaz 2 hob + grill with regulators for Camping Gaz & Calor Gas. -12V/240V Peltier Fridge -240V 1000W invertor for charging phones, cameras, laptops etc -6 Cigarette lighter sockets -Leisure Battery (recharges when driving) -LED Lights in back -Sony Xplod CD Player and 6x9’s in boxes -Safe, bolted to the floor - large enough to fit a 12” laptop, maybe 13” (haven’t tried one) -Secret laptop compartment with Kensington lock -All Pots and Pans, cutlery, Kettle & toaster etc -Heaps of storage – under bench, under bed with massive draw spanning length of bed, above bed plus storage units. -Curtains all round -Club lock -Rear door can be double locked from inside We spent a month of summer with 7 of us and our luggage in the van and lived to tell the tale Other stuff includes -2-3 person inflatable boat with Oars and pump -2 Blow up mattresses -2 foam fold/roll out mattress -5 tents, (2 x 4 man, 3 x 2 man) -3 single sleeping bags -1 massive double sleeping bag -Heaps of bedding (sheets, pillows & cases, doona & cover) -12V powered Esky / Chillibin / cold box (this was awesome) -Converter 240V to 12V for esky when at campsites etc. -Long extension lead with Euro fitting -Mini Portable BBQ grill with coals -2 fold up tables -2 fold up chairs -Tarp with poles and couple of extras for the ground -Picnic Blanket -Portable Speakers -4 Fishing reels n some tackle -Beach umbrella -Straw beach mats -Inflatable lilo -Beach games -Solar Shower Maintenance records (receipt folder included) -Had new front bushes installed at 120,000 -Had a complete NEW cam belt kit including idlers at 114,000 -Had full 4 wheel brake upgrade at it's MOT in April 08 including new pads and discs and new parking brake cable. -Had a new master brake cylinder installed Feb 09 so the entire brake system is now excellent, pretty much as new. -Had a new Bosch starter motor installed at 102,000 km -Has an alarm, but unfortunately both keys were lost, the last in 2006. So with some new key purchasing it should work again. In the meantime it doesn't cause any issues of any kind. This van is ready to roll, you can literally buy it and live in it on day one.
