2 very healthy and happy Male Bearded Dragons, approx 6 months old, I bought them at the end of October. They are very tame, love having a bath and love being handled and sitting on shoulders, they are great with children.
Also:
Large handmade vivarium.
2 heat lamps, bulbs, (only been used for 3 weeks)
1 uv tube and transformer (only been used for 3 weeks)
2 basking spots, natural stone tiles on back and floor, play sand for floor and basking spots/ledges , 2 dishes, stones, branches, plastic plants, 2 air plants etc
The vivarium was made by my husband after Christmas as the dragons had got too big for their old one. Unfortunately I now need the money for a cycle of IVF so need to rehome them as soon as possible.
The raw materials, wood, tiles, adhesive grout etc cost in excess of £250 and then everything else, bulbs, fittings etc is new in there too, nothing from the old vivarium was used.
It is on a handmade custom stand made from pine, the 2 glass doors on the front are made from toughened glass and it has a stainless steel mesh lid to aid ventilation.
I have lots of other bits and bobs too as everything must go, I have today just purchased a large bag of crickets, tub of bug grub and bug water crystals, I have a new sieve for the sand, a large cricket keeper, extra plastic plants, lots of bark, an extra heat lamp and fittings.
The dragons have been very well looked after and are my pride and joy, they are still growing well and are shedding about once a fortnight now, they spend most of their time together although there are 2 raised basking spots in case they do want time apart, they are usually on each others backs though.
The vivarium and stand are very heavy so collection is needed although I could probably get my husband to deliver locally as we have a van.
The vivarium is 5 feet high, just over 2 feet deep and just over 5 feet long made from thick ply; the inside has natural stone tiles on the bottom half of the back and floor, sealed with sand grout and has a desert background on the sides and top of the back. The vivarium still needs edging trim on which I can get my husband to do if you wish as we have got it; he's just been busy doing other things.
If there is anything else that you would like to know please don't hesitate to contact me. I've attached a couple of photographs but it isn't very easy to see just how nice this vivarium is, my husband has been asked by a lady in a local pet shop to make her one like it but hasn't the time. It is easy to maintain as the sand just needs sieving occasionally.
