Here is a look at our upcoming classes; Dramatic Arts Program (DAP) This six month full-time course is designed to challenge actors to achieve their highest potential. Start Date: March 10 2008 Duration: 24 weeks, Monday to Friday 10 am to 3 pm Tuition: $8850 plus GST On Going Scene Study (OSS) On-Going Scene Study is designed for actors with previous training in film and television acting. A skilled coach will work with dedicated actors to develop their individual strengths and overcome personal weaknesses, creating strong and confident performances. OSS incorporates drills and exercises to help the actor “live in the moment’ and concentrates on exploring the layers of subtext and characterization in scenes. Start Date: Jan. 2—Feb. 20 Duration: 8 sessions, Wednesdays, 6-9pm Tuition: $400 plus GST Introduction to Acting (ITA) Every great actor has had to start with the basics! Intro to Acting introduces you to the fundamentals of film and television acting. Audition techniques, scenes and monologues, improvisation and script analysis are just a few of the topics covered to help you begin your career as an actor. Start Date: Jan.8-Feb.26 Duration: 8 sessions, Tuesdays, 6-10pm Tuition: $400 plus GST Audition Class (AC) This is a class for actors who was to improve their audition skills. On-camera and off-camera performances, prepared auditions and cold reads—this class will keep you on your toes!
