Well, a new year is upon us and as such out with the old and in with
the new. The decision has been made to sell my old 1950 Pontiac steel
woodie. The vehicle is in great condition, as it has been stored in a
heated building for the last 20 years. Almost no rust and a very
straight body. I was told that it has it's original straight eight
cylinder engine and was rebuilt just prior to it being stored. I
drove it last year and noted that the water pump was leaky, so I took
it off, had it rebuilt and put it back on. The vehicle is nearly
complete to the best of my knowledge. It also comes with an extra
transmission. The only body issues that I noted were that the rear flip up door, appears to have some fiber glass repair as well as some repair patches under the drivers side and passenger side front floor area. There is also two small areas where the paint is blistering on the passenger side front quarter and front passenger door. The interior shows signs of being in long term storage and the vehicle still has all 3 bench seats. I had bought the vehicle to hot rod it, but I can't bring myself to cutting it up and ripping the old engine out of it. I can email photos of the old gal at your request and have no problem answering any questions (at least to the best of my limited knowledge). I'm located in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada and would consider delivery at a negotiated price. I would also be very accommodating to shipping as I have shipped vehicles over seas in the past. I'm asking $15,000 US or best reasonable offer. I can be reached at ptglanville@shaw.ca
